Meet our Physician Assistants

Meet Orthopedic Institute's trained, licensed physician assistants. They perform tasks that might otherwise be performed by physicians or under the direction of a supervising physician. All Physician Assistants at Orthopedic Institute have certification by NCCPA.

Lee Arnold, PA-C

Lee joined Orthopedic Institute in 1997. He earned a degree in Electronic Technology from Northwestern Electronics Institute in Minneapolis and in Applied Sciences from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, before completing the PA program at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines.

Patrick Heiser, PA-C

Patrick joined Orthopedic Institute in 2007. He earned a Nursing Degree from the University of South Dakota and a BS degree in Physicians Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska.

Chad Hemminger, MS, PA-C

Chad joined Orthopedic Institute in 2006. He earned a degree in Biology from St. John's University and a Master of Science PA Degree from the University of Iowa.

Karl Kreutzmann, PA-C

Karl joined Orthopedic Institute in 2001. He earned a Nursing Degree and completed the PA program at the University of Texas, and he received residency training at the Bone & Joint Institute in Chicago.

Mike Langston, ATC, PA-C

Mike joined Orthopedic Institute in 1999. He earned an Athletic Training Degree from Minnesota State University and a PA Degree from the University of South Dakota.  He has earned certifications from NATA and NCCPA.

Courtney Linton, MS, PA-C

Courtney joined the Orthopedic Institute Hand Team under the supervision of Dr. Blake Curd in 2011.  She has eight years of experience in orthopedics. Educational background includes a BS in Exercise Science from the University of Sioux Falls, a BS in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Dakota, and a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies with Specialization in Orthopedics from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  

Alissa Moen, MS, PA-C

Alissa joined Orthopedic Institute in 2004. She earned a degree in Biology from the University of South Dakota, and a Master of Science PA Degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago.

Cory Olson, MS, PT, PA-C

The Orthopedic Institute team welcomed Cory in 2011. He worked as a physical therapist for 8 years prior to receiving a PA Degree. Both his PA and PT Masters Degrees were earned from the University of South Dakota along with his undergraduate degree in Biology.

 

Scott Rawson, MS, ATC, PA-C

Scott joined Orthopedic Institute in 2000. He received degrees in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from the University of Charleston and in Health/Physical Education from Marshall University, both in West Virginia, before completing his PA Degree at the University of South Dakota.

Chad Scott, MS, PA-C

Chad joined Orthopedic Institute in 2001. He earned degrees in Biology, Psychology and in PA studies from the University of Iowa.

Dayna Semchenko, MS, ATC, PA-C

Dayna joined Orthopedic Institute in 2002. She earned a degree in Athletic Training from North Dakota State University and a Masters Degree in PA studies from Des Moines University.  Dayna is an Orthopedic Institute hospital based physician assistant.

Crystal Skovly, MS, PA-C,

Crystal joined Orthopedic Institute in 2011. She earned a Bachelors of Schience Degree in Cell Biology from Montana State University - Bozeman and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University Kasiska School of Health Professions.

 

Craig Steinborn, PA-C

Craig joined Orthopedic Institute in 1980. He earned a degree in Biology from Augustana College and a Health Science/PA Degree from Wichita State University in Kansas.

Christopher Tibbetts, MS, PA-C

Chris joined Orthopedic Institute in 1994. He graduated from the University of North Texas and earned a Masters/PA Degree from Baylor College of Medicine.
