Interventional Pain Medicine PA
This PA position will work in clinic along with our Interventional Pain Medicine Physician. PA will be responsible for patient evaluation and examination, injections, medical management and patient education.
LPN
Full- time opportunity at our OI NOW Clinic. Hours for this position are M-F 12:30pm-7:30pm
The position responsibilities are: assisting physician and/or mid-level in clinic environment. Duties include: rooming patients, medical histories, injections and patient phone calls and assisting with procedures.
Required licensure and education for the position. Basic computer skills. Must possess exceptional ability to communicate with patients, clinic staff, and physicians. Successful candidates will have excellent multi-tasking skills to keep the flow of the busiest orthopedic clinic in Sioux Falls running smoothly.
Medical Coding Specialist
Orthopedic Institute has an immediate opening for a full-time Medical Coding Specialist. This position is responsible for analyzing documentation for the accurate use CPT, ICD-9, and modifiers as it relates to orthopedic evaluation and management visits, imaging, and in-office procedures. Also enters and balances charges, educates providers on proper documentation, and assists the appeals staff with applicable coding denials.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent with a demonstrated working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9 guidelines.
- Certification as a Professional Coder (CPC) and minimum of 2 years of coding experience in a physician office setting strongly preferred.
- Professional with great attention to detail.
- Team player, with excellent phone and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work easily in Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and familiarity with A/R computer programs.
Schedule is Monday thru Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Director of Reimbursement
This position is responsible for directing and coordinating the overall functions of the business office to ensure maximization of cash flow while improving patient, physician, and other customer relations. Areas of responsibility include A/R management, analysis, and reporting; monitoring and analysis of payer contracts, updates, and payments; coding and edit updates; revenue cycle management including coding, billing, denials & appeals, and collections.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a medical business office including previous coding experience, and minimum of 5 years as a department manager in medical clinic business office.
- Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle management and analysis.
- Strong leadership and management experience.
- Ability to work easily in Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and familiarity with A/R computer programs.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting, business or healthcare administration preferred.
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) strongly preferred.
Director of Clinical Services
This position is responsible for directing and coordinating the overall functions of various clinical departments improving patient, physician, and other customer relations. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, leading and directing day to day clinical operations. Position also is responsible for EMR software, meaningful use, PQRS; and corporate compliance including HIPPA. Areas of responsibility include nursing, imaging, clinical specialist, and physician executive assistants.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare administration required, with a Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum five years day-to-day operation management experience in a physician medical clinic.
- Extensive knowledge of clinical departments and patient flow.
- Understanding of meaningful use and PQRS requirements.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures related to privacy and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership and management experience.
- Ability to work easily in Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and familiarity with EMR computer programs.
